The brief

Build an opening spread for an imagined magazine, balancing a prominent title and image area with a facing page of text rules.

Visual decisions

A generous outer margin creates space around the content. A large blue serif title and a landscape illustration occupy the left page; repeated horizontal rules represent body copy on the facing page, with a short caption below.

Application and scope

The publication title and short caption are original fictional samples. The horizontal rules represent body copy rather than readable article excerpts. This is not a commissioned magazine or evidence of editorial clients.

For a real project, the final source material, deliverable formats, review responsibilities and usage rights would be defined in the brief. The visible study shows one bounded visual direction rather than a promise of commercial performance.
